Diocese of Paterson Mission Statement

We believe that the Diocese of Paterson is called by Jesus Christ to be the local expression of the universal Church in faith, worship and service.  As such, we are committed to building a community that is Catholic, united in our adherence to our faith and committed to the service of God's people. We aim to serve the faithful through our parishes, Catholic schools, Catholic Charities agencies and various diocesan ministries and programs.
