The St. Joseph Religious Education program is comprised of a community of students, catechists and their helpers, parents, and clergy. The group is united with genuine love and concern for the purpose of religious formation. The parish staff and catechists strive to provide a safe and quality Christian environment in which the students can grow in the knowledge and practice of the Catholic faith. Nurtured by the sacraments and inspired by the Word of God as proclaimed in Holy Scripture, we focus to proclaim the message of Jesus.
The St. Joseph religious education program provides for children in first grade through seventh grade. The program prepares the children of the parish for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist.
Parents play a most important role in a child’s religious education. We encourage all families to pray together at home and help their children learn their prayers. Prayers to be memorized are listed below. Attendance at Mass each week is an important faith experience for children and families.
